At Sziget Festival, audiences mostly see the stages, the concerts and the experiences. Tens of thousands of visitors, a vast site, many venues, and numerous crew members and service providers all have to be coordinated, so that the right equipment is available at the right time at every point of the festival. More Than Equipment Rental: Complete Event Infrastructure
A project of this scale involves far more than delivering equipment to the site. Planning, warehousing, logistics, installation and the different needs of each event area all form one complex system.
This system doesn’t just have to be ready when the festival opens. It has to run reliably for the whole event, while needs on site may keep changing. Event Stuff’s own equipment inventory and logistics support let us respond quickly and flexibly to these situations, even at large-scale events.
Sziget Festival Infrastructure in Numbers
The thousands of items Event Stuff supplied to different areas of the festival show the scale of the project.
8,210 mobile fence panels (3.5 × 2 m) were used to separate areas safely and build the festival’s infrastructure.
Crowd management and safe movement were supported by a further 1,301 crowd control barriers, 30 heavy-duty barriers and 40 police-style barriers.
In organiser and service areas, 60 office containers and 3 retail containers gave crew members, service providers and exhibitors a proper working environment.
35 high-capacity sanitary and toilet containers were delivered to the site for the hygiene infrastructure.
30 pagoda tents, 12 tents and 750 floor panels were used to set up the various guest and service areas.
At a festival of this size, fast and continuous communication between back-of-house teams is essential. This was supported by 9,811 two-way radios and accessories. Beyond the functional infrastructure, we also added to the look of the event: 20 custom light arches gave Sziget an even more distinctive look after dark.

The numbers alone show how big the project was. Behind every single item, though, there is planning, warehousing, transport, installation, coordination and a continuous presence on site.
At large events, there is no room to wait days for a missing item, or to leave an unexpected situation without a quick solution.
